Preparing for Hospital Admission
Your treating doctor and the hospital admissions team will guide you on the requirements for your specific stay. Having your identification, medical scheme or medical aid information, authorisation or referral documentation, a list of current medicines, supplements, and known allergies, your treating doctor’s details, and personal toiletries available makes admission easier. Contact the hospital before arriving if you are unsure what to bring.
Visiting Hours & Hospital Patient Care
Visitors are welcome, provided visits do not interfere with patient treatment, rest, privacy, or infection-control requirements. Visiting arrangements differ between wards, may change according to a patient’s clinical condition, or be paused by clinical staff when patient care requires it. Please confirm current visiting hours and ward rules directly with the relevant ward.
